Turkey hunting imagery created for From Field To Table, primary use on Instagram in an ongoing study on where quality food comes from. I choose to participate in the processing of what I eat. The hunting, the butchering, the cooking. All of this along with this photographic study is an extension of my paying respect to the animal for feeding my family. This food did not come wrapped in plastic, it was covered beautiful feathers and wild textured skin. Turkey are beautiful creatures, challenging to hunt and make a phenomenal meal.Â
